Our Handmade Ceramic matcha Bowl is perfect for making matcha but would also work for noodles, cereal, soup or dessert; it would be a great addition to your dinner party. The Bowl has a stunning soft glaze with a dark brown tenmoku glaze covered partly with a white glaze. The effect these glazes give is caused by the tenmoku glaze bubbling through the white glaze at top temperature, giving what is called an oil spot glaze. Ensure you're bringing your dining table or sideboard to life!

This bowl has been thrown on the wheel before being glazed and high-fired.

All pottery is food safe and can be used in the microwave, oven, and dishwasher.

This bowl is finished using several glazes that naturally interact during firing.

The base layers of Spearmint and Chun Seafoam are enhanced with fine oversprays of Gens Satin Matte, Strontium Crystal Magic and Opal, producing soft transitions between celadon greens, misty seafoam and subtle earthy highlights.

Because these glazes develop naturally inside the kiln, no two bowls can ever be exactly alike.

Handmade Crystalline Glaze Bowl – Blue & Orange

This handmade porcelain bowl is a striking piece of ceramic art, featuring a vivid blue and orange crystalline glaze on the exterior and a smooth white interior. Its unique crystal patterns bring depth and movement, making it a stunning addition to your dining table, entryway, or sideboard.

Each bowl is thrown on the wheel, carefully trimmed, and altered before being bisque-fired, glazed, and high-fired. The crystalline finish is achieved through a complex firing process, where the kiln reaches 1300°C and then cools slowly, allowing crystals to grow, a process that can take up to 16 hours. The result is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
