Each bowl is thrown on the wheel, carefully trimmed, and altered before being bisque-fired, glazed, and high-fired. The crystalline finish is achieved through a complex firing process, where the kiln reaches 1300°C and then cools slowly, allowing crystals to grow, a process that can take up to 16 hours. The result is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

This lovely handmade pottery sugar bowl features a beautiful domed lid with blue and brown mottled glazes. It has been carefully crafted in our studio in Australia and can be used for various purposes, such as a sugar bowl or tea storage container. The bowl is lined with a glossy brown glaze and is both microwave and dishwasher-safe, but it is recommended to hand wash it for a longer lifespan.

The bowl measures 12 cm at the belly and 7 cm in height, making it a wonderful complement to our small creamer and large mugs. It is made of Australian clay and glaze and can hold up to 2 cups just under the inside rim.

This lidded pot would be an excellent choice for a unique housewarming, birthday, wedding, or engagement gift.
