Care Instructions
All our ceramics are made using Australian, non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes.

All our ceramics are fired to very high temperatures, making them very strong and durable. All of our pieces ~ except for gold lustre decorations ~ are dishwasher & oven safe. Take care to avoid sudden temperature changes (for example, from the oven to a cold benchtop), as this is likely to cause thermal shock, which can result in the piece cracking.

This Ceramic Bowl is handmade and one of a kind.

This bowl was thrown on the wheel, trimmed, and bisque-fired before being glazed and high-fired. The third firing added the gold trim. This is real gold which has been applied, and where it has gone over a crystal, it has a broken effect. Because of the gold, this is not microwaving safe, and we suggest hand washing. This is real gold.

This handmade pottery olive oil bottle is crafted from white stoneware and is suitable for any kitchen. It is wheel-thrown and coated with a food-safe glaze, making it practical and safe for cooking and eating. The beautiful green mottled glaze is high-fired, ensuring it is durable and water-resistant. A ceramic cruet is an excellent container for storing olive oil because it can block light, air, and heat. The thick ceramic walls help protect the oil from these elements. However, if you will use a cruet, it is essential to wash it thoroughly before each refill. Otherwise, you risk mixing older oil with fresh one, which can affect the oil's taste.

This Ceramic Bowl is handmade and one of a kind. The blue glaze is made up of a multitude of tiny crystals making it a very unique piece, a perfect gift idea

This bowl was thrown on the wheel, trimmed, altered, and bisque-fired before being glazed and high-fired.

Crystalline glazes have a firing process using a complex schedule with several temperature ramps to create different crystal growth formations. The kiln is fired to a maximum temperature of around 1300c and then cooled to specific holding temperatures to allow crystals to form in the glaze. It can take from 3 to 6 hours to grow the crystals in the cooling phase.
