Keep your kitchen bench tidy while adding a beautiful piece of handmade pottery to your everyday cooking.
This generously sized ceramic spoon rest measures approximately 15cm across, providing plenty of room for larger cooking utensils such as ladles, serving spoons and spatulas. The gently raised rim helps contain drips, while a specially lowered section at the front allows the utensil handle to rest comfortably across the edge.
Finished in a softly mottled blue-grey glaze, the surface features a subtle spiral pattern that reflects the marks of the making process. Natural variations in the glaze and form make every spoon rest individual.
Both practical and decorative, it is a lovely addition beside the stovetop and a thoughtful Australian-made gift for anyone who enjoys cooking.

Materials
Materials
Most Buxton Pottery pieces are made from high-fired stoneware clay, chosen for its strength, durability and suitability for everyday use.
Crystalline pottery pieces are generally made from high-fired porcelain, which provides a smooth, light-coloured surface that allows the crystal glazes to develop clearly during firing.
All pieces are individually handmade and finished with food-safe ceramic glazes.
