Handmade Altered Ceramic Bowl – Seafoam Green
This handmade ceramic bowl is wheel-thrown, then individually altered by hand to create its soft, organic rim and gently sculptural shape.
After being thrown on the pottery wheel, the form is added to and reshaped, giving the rim a flowing, petal-like movement. This makes the bowl feel more individual and expressive than a standard round bowl, while still being practical for everyday use.
Glazed in layered seafoam green glazes, the surface has a soft glossy finish with subtle movement, depth and variation. The glaze pools slightly in places, creating beautiful natural changes in tone across the bowl.
Measuring approximately 17.5cm across x 7.5cm tall, this bowl is a slightly larger size than the smaller bowls in this style. It can be used on its own or mixed with the other bowls as part of a handmade set, with the slight size difference adding to the natural charm of handmade pottery.
It is ideal for soup, cereal, salad, rice bowls, pasta, dessert, snacks or small serving.

If an item arrives damaged, please contact me promptly with photos of the item and packaging. Depending on availability, I will arrange a replacement or refund.

Microwave safe and dishwasher safe, although hand washing is recommended to help preserve the glaze finish.
Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as moving pottery directly from the refrigerator into a hot oven. Buxton Pottery is not thermal-shock ware and should not be exposed to rapid changes in temperature.
