The Bush Creek Earth Collection captures the colours found where flowing water meets rugged Australian bushland. Soft oatmeal glazes blend into warm iron browns, echoing sandstone cliffs, dry grasses and rich earth after rain.
Every firing creates its own landscape, making each mug a unique functional artwork.

Each Buxton Pottery piece is individually wheel-thrown, trimmed, glazed and high-fired in our Melbourne studio.

Materials
Materials
Most Buxton Pottery pieces are made from high-fired stoneware clay, chosen for its strength, durability and suitability for everyday use.
Crystalline pottery pieces are generally made from high-fired porcelain, which provides a smooth, light-coloured surface that allows the crystal glazes to develop clearly during firing.
All pieces are individually handmade and finished with food-safe ceramic glazes.
