Elegant Simplicity with a Sculptural Twist

This handcrafted ceramic vase combines traditional wheel throwing with hand-altering to create a graceful contemporary form. After throwing, the soft clay is carefully reshaped, producing the flowing front opening that gives this vase its distinctive character.

Finished in a calming seafoam glaze with subtle tonal variation, the vase has a peaceful, organic feel that complements both modern and rustic interiors.

Perfect for displaying a small bunch of fresh flowers, dried stems or simply enjoyed as a decorative object, each vase is individually handmade, making every piece unique.

Whether placed on a shelf, bedside table, kitchen bench or coffee table, this sculptural vase brings quiet elegance to any space.

Materials

Most Buxton Pottery pieces are made from high-fired stoneware clay, chosen for its strength, durability and suitability for everyday use.

Crystalline pottery pieces are generally made from high-fired porcelain, which provides a smooth, light-coloured surface that allows the crystal glazes to develop clearly during firing.

All pieces are individually handmade and finished with food-safe ceramic glazes.

Shipping & Returns

Orders are carefully packed and dispatched from Melbourne within 2–3 business days. Australia-wide shipping is calculated at checkout.

As each piece is handmade, natural variations in shape, colour and glaze are part of its individual character and are not considered faults.

Buxton Pottery does not accept returns for change of mind. If you are unhappy with your order, please contact me so I can discuss the issue with you.

If an item arrives damaged, please contact me promptly with photos of the item and packaging. Depending on availability, I will arrange a replacement or refund.

Approximate dimensions are listed in the product description for each individual piece. As every item is handmade, slight variations in size and capacity may occur.
