Handmade Ceramic Cereal & Soup Bowl
This handmade ceramic bowl is a practical everyday piece for cereal, soup, noodles, desserts, rice bowls or small meals.
Wheel-thrown in my Melbourne pottery studio, each bowl is made from high-fired stoneware clay and finished in a soft speckled cream glaze with a flowing green accent inside the bowl. The simple neutral exterior makes it easy to mix with other handmade pottery, while the green glaze detail gives each piece its own character.
Measuring approx. 15cm wide × 7.5cm high, this bowl is a useful size for breakfast, lunch, soup, noodles or casual meals.
Each bowl is individually handmade and glazed, so small variations in shape, size, speckling and glaze placement are part of its handmade character.

Most Buxton Pottery pieces are made from high-fired stoneware clay, chosen for its strength, durability and suitability for everyday use.
Crystalline pottery pieces are generally made from high-fired porcelain, which provides a smooth, light-coloured surface that allows the crystal glazes to develop clearly during firing.
All pieces are individually handmade and finished with food-safe ceramic glazes.

Orders are carefully packed and dispatched from Melbourne within 2–3 business days. Australia-wide shipping is calculated at checkout.
As each piece is handmade, natural variations in shape, colour and glaze are part of its individual character and are not considered faults.
Buxton Pottery does not accept returns for change of mind. If you are unhappy with your order, please contact me so I can discuss the issue with you.
If an item arrives damaged, please contact me promptly with photos of the item and packaging. Depending on availability, I will arrange a replacement or refund.

Microwave safe and dishwasher safe, although hand washing is recommended to help preserve the glaze finish.
Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as moving pottery directly from the refrigerator into a hot oven. Buxton Pottery is not thermal-shock ware and should not be exposed to rapid changes in temperature.

Really nice, well made bowl. I wanted something handmade locally that didn't have that typical "mass produced look and feel" about it. I'd recommend this potter to anyone looking to buy a quality bowl.
