A handmade porcelain mug finished in a beautiful green crystalline glaze, with naturally formed crystal patterns created during firing.
Two closely matched mugs are available, each with its own naturally formed crystal patterns and subtle variations in the glaze. The gently rounded form and comfortable handmade handle make this mug ideal for coffee, tea or your favourite warm drink.
Please note: The price is for one individual mug. Although the two mugs are closely matched, each is unique due to the natural crystalline glaze process.

About Crystalline Pottery
Crystalline glazes are created through a specialised firing process that encourages visible crystals to grow within the glaze.
The size, placement and shape of the crystals develop naturally in the kiln and cannot be reproduced exactly. These variations are part of the beauty and individuality of crystalline pottery.

Most Buxton Pottery pieces are made from high-fired stoneware clay, chosen for its strength, durability and suitability for everyday use.
Crystalline pottery pieces are generally made from high-fired porcelain, which provides a smooth, light-coloured surface that allows the crystal glazes to develop clearly during firing.
All pieces are individually handmade and finished with food-safe ceramic glazes.

Orders are carefully packed and dispatched from Melbourne within 2–3 business days. Australia-wide shipping is calculated at checkout.
As each piece is handmade, natural variations in shape, colour and glaze are part of its individual character and are not considered faults.
Buxton Pottery does not accept returns for change of mind. If you are unhappy with your order, please contact me so I can discuss the issue with you.
If an item arrives damaged, please contact me promptly with photos of the item and packaging. Depending on availability, I will arrange a replacement or refund.

Microwave safe and dishwasher safe, although hand washing is recommended to help preserve the glaze finish.
Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as moving pottery directly from the refrigerator into a hot oven. Buxton Pottery is not thermal-shock ware and should not be exposed to rapid changes in temperature.
