A small bowl with big versatility.

This handmade ceramic bowl is perfect for anything that needs a small, beautiful vessel—salt, sauces, spices, jewellery, or little treasures.

Wheel-thrown in our Melbourne studio and glazed in a soft, speckled buttermilk tone, it adds a warm, neutral accent to your kitchen or table. The glaze is food-safe, and the bowl is high-fired for strength and everyday use.

Use it as a condiment bowl, a salt pinch pot, or even a trinket holder on your bedside table.

Materials: Clay, ceramic, glazes.

Materials

Most Buxton Pottery pieces are made from high-fired stoneware clay, chosen for its strength, durability and suitability for everyday use.

Crystalline pottery pieces are generally made from high-fired porcelain, which provides a smooth, light-coloured surface that allows the crystal glazes to develop clearly during firing.

All pieces are individually handmade and finished with food-safe ceramic glazes.

Shipping & Returns

Orders are carefully packed and dispatched from Melbourne within 2–3 business days. Australia-wide shipping is calculated at checkout.

As each piece is handmade, natural variations in shape, colour and glaze are part of its individual character and are not considered faults.

Buxton Pottery does not accept returns for change of mind. If you are unhappy with your order, please contact me so I can discuss the issue with you.

If an item arrives damaged, please contact me promptly with photos of the item and packaging. Depending on availability, I will arrange a replacement or refund.

Dimensions

Approximate dimensions are listed in the product description for each individual piece. As every item is handmade, slight variations in size and capacity may occur.

Care Instructions

Microwave safe and dishwasher safe, although hand washing is recommended to help preserve the glaze finish.

Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as moving pottery directly from the refrigerator into a hot oven. Buxton Pottery is not thermal-shock ware and should not be exposed to rapid changes in temperature.
