A beautiful handmade pottery mug finished in a soft blue mottled glaze, creating a calm, timeless look with subtle movement and depth. This mug is designed for everyday comfort, with a gently curved shape, comfortable handle, and a generous size for coffee, tea, or hot chocolate.
PLEASE NOTE: These mugs are offered as seconds due to small glaze imperfections that are cosmetic only and do not affect their function or everyday use. - Both mugs have a little glaze missing at the bottom of the handle, apart form that they are fabulous.
Handmade and glazed in my Melbourne studio, this piece has an organic feel that reflects the beauty of true handmade ceramics. The blue glaze has a soft, layered look that makes each mug unique, while the glossy finish adds richness and character.
Holding approximately 350–400ml, it is a practical size for daily use and a lovely addition to any handmade pottery collection.

Most Buxton Pottery pieces are made from high-fired stoneware clay, chosen for its strength, durability and suitability for everyday use.
Crystalline pottery pieces are generally made from high-fired porcelain, which provides a smooth, light-coloured surface that allows the crystal glazes to develop clearly during firing.
All pieces are individually handmade and finished with food-safe ceramic glazes.

Orders are carefully packed and dispatched from Melbourne within 2–3 business days. Australia-wide shipping is calculated at checkout.
As each piece is handmade, natural variations in shape, colour and glaze are part of its individual character and are not considered faults.
Buxton Pottery does not accept returns for change of mind. If you are unhappy with your order, please contact me so I can discuss the issue with you.
If an item arrives damaged, please contact me promptly with photos of the item and packaging. Depending on availability, I will arrange a replacement or refund.

Microwave safe and dishwasher safe, although hand washing is recommended to help preserve the glaze finish.
Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as moving pottery directly from the refrigerator into a hot oven. Buxton Pottery is not thermal-shock ware and should not be exposed to rapid changes in temperature.
