This handmade ceramic tumbler is part of my Bush Creek Collection, featuring layered turquoise, rust, brown and earthy glaze movement inspired by the natural colours of the Australian landscape.
Wheel-thrown and individually glazed in my Melbourne pottery studio, this tumbler has a tall, simple form that feels practical and versatile. The exterior glaze has beautiful movement, with deep earthy tones, soft turquoise areas and natural ash-like drips across the surface.
Holding approximately 350ml, it is a useful size for coffee, tea, water, juice, wine, whisky or an everyday drink beside the bed or on the kitchen bench.
Each tumbler is handmade and glazed individually, so no two pieces are exactly alike. The colour placement, glaze movement and handmade form are all part of its one-of-a-kind character.

Most Buxton Pottery pieces are made from high-fired stoneware clay, chosen for its strength, durability and suitability for everyday use.
Crystalline pottery pieces are generally made from high-fired porcelain, which provides a smooth, light-coloured surface that allows the crystal glazes to develop clearly during firing.
All pieces are individually handmade and finished with food-safe ceramic glazes.

As each piece is handmade, natural variations in shape, colour and glaze are part of its individual character and are not considered faults.
Buxton Pottery does not accept returns for change of mind. If you are unhappy with your order, please contact me so I can discuss the issue with you.
If an item arrives damaged, please contact me promptly with photos of the item and packaging. Depending on availability, I will arrange a replacement or refund.

Microwave safe and dishwasher safe, although hand washing is recommended to help preserve the glaze finish.
Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as moving pottery directly from the refrigerator into a hot oven. Buxton Pottery is not thermal-shock ware and should not be exposed to rapid changes in temperature.
