A charming handmade ceramic jug from the Blue Gum Collection, finished in soft spearmint and oatmeal glazes with a smooth oatmeal-lined interior.
This small stoneware jug is ideal for serving milk, cream, sauces or dressings, and it also makes a lovely little vessel for a few stems or simply as a decorative piece on the shelf.
The exterior blends gentle spearmint tones at the base into warm oatmeal through the upper body and rim, creating a soft, natural look inspired by the Australian landscape. Each jug is individually handmade, so no two are ever exactly the same.
With its comfortable handle, softly rounded shape and neat pouring lip, it is both practical and beautiful for everyday use.

Most Buxton Pottery pieces are made from high-fired stoneware clay, chosen for its strength, durability and suitability for everyday use.
Crystalline pottery pieces are generally made from high-fired porcelain, which provides a smooth, light-coloured surface that allows the crystal glazes to develop clearly during firing.
All pieces are individually handmade and finished with food-safe ceramic glazes.

Orders are carefully packed and dispatched from Melbourne within 2–3 business days. Australia-wide shipping is calculated at checkout.
As each piece is handmade, natural variations in shape, colour and glaze are part of its individual character and are not considered faults.
Buxton Pottery does not accept returns for change of mind. If you are unhappy with your order, please contact me so I can discuss the issue with you.
If an item arrives damaged, please contact me promptly with photos of the item and packaging. Depending on availability, I will arrange a replacement or refund.

Microwave safe and dishwasher safe, although hand washing is recommended to help preserve the glaze finish.
Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as moving pottery directly from the refrigerator into a hot oven. Buxton Pottery is not thermal-shock ware and should not be exposed to rapid changes in temperature.
