A generous, beautifully shaped mug for those who enjoy a proper cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. This one-off Buxton Pottery piece has a warm brown base with a drippy glaze flowing up the rounded body, giving it a lovely earthy, layered finish.
Holding approximately 500ml, it has a comfortable curved handle and a substantial shape that feels lovely in the hand. Handmade in Melbourne, each mug has its own individual glaze movement and character.

Most Buxton Pottery pieces are made from high-fired stoneware clay, chosen for its strength, durability and suitability for everyday use.
Crystalline pottery pieces are generally made from high-fired porcelain, which provides a smooth, light-coloured surface that allows the crystal glazes to develop clearly during firing.
All pieces are individually handmade and finished with food-safe ceramic glazes.

As each piece is handmade, natural variations in shape, colour and glaze are part of its individual character and are not considered faults.
Buxton Pottery does not accept returns for change of mind. If you are unhappy with your order, please contact me so I can discuss the issue with you.
If an item arrives damaged, please contact me promptly with photos of the item and packaging. Depending on availability, I will arrange a replacement or refund.

Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as moving pottery directly from the refrigerator into a hot oven. Buxton Pottery is not thermal-shock ware and should not be exposed to rapid changes in temperature.
