This handmade ceramic jug is wheel-thrown in stoneware and finished in a calming soft green glaze with layered blue movement, inspired by natural landscapes. The interior is lined with a smooth, glossy white glaze for easy pouring and everyday use.
At 200ml capacity, it’s ideal as a milk or cream jug for coffee and tea, but equally useful for serving sauces, dressings, or syrup. The gently formed spout pours cleanly, while the comfortable handle makes it a pleasure to use.
Each jug is individually handmade in my Melbourne studio, meaning subtle variations in glaze and form are part of its unique character.

Most Buxton Pottery pieces are made from high-fired stoneware clay, chosen for its strength, durability and suitability for everyday use.
Crystalline pottery pieces are generally made from high-fired porcelain, which provides a smooth, light-coloured surface that allows the crystal glazes to develop clearly during firing.
All pieces are individually handmade and finished with food-safe ceramic glazes.

Orders are carefully packed and dispatched from Melbourne within 2–3 business days. Australia-wide shipping is calculated at checkout.
As each piece is handmade, natural variations in shape, colour and glaze are part of its individual character and are not considered faults.
Buxton Pottery does not accept returns for change of mind. If you are unhappy with your order, please contact me so I can discuss the issue with you.
If an item arrives damaged, please contact me promptly with photos of the item and packaging. Depending on availability, I will arrange a replacement or refund.

Microwave safe and dishwasher safe, although hand washing is recommended to help preserve the glaze finish.
Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as moving pottery directly from the refrigerator into a hot oven. Buxton Pottery is not thermal-shock ware and should not be exposed to rapid changes in temperature.
