Handmade Altered Ceramic Bowl – Seafoam Green
These handmade ceramic bowls are wheel-thrown, then individually altered by hand to create their soft, petal-like rim and organic shape.
Each bowl begins on the pottery wheel before extra clay is added and the rim is gently reshaped. This gives every bowl its own natural movement, making them feel more sculptural than a standard round bowl.
Glazed in layered seafoam green tones, each bowl has a beautiful depth of colour with subtle glaze variation, soft pooling and natural movement across the surface. The glaze effect is fresh, calm and elegant, while still showing the character of handmade pottery.
These bowls are practical for everyday use and beautiful enough for the table. Use them for cereal, soup, dessert, rice bowls, salad, snacks or small serving dishes.

Dishwasher safe, although gentle handwashing is recommended to help preserve the handmade glaze finish over time.

Most Buxton Pottery pieces are made from high-fired stoneware clay, chosen for its strength, durability and suitability for everyday use.
Crystalline pottery pieces are generally made from high-fired porcelain, which provides a smooth, light-coloured surface that allows the crystal glazes to develop clearly during firing.
All pieces are individually handmade and finished with food-safe ceramic glazes.

As each piece is handmade, natural variations in shape, colour and glaze are part of its individual character and are not considered faults.

If an item arrives damaged, please contact me promptly with photos of the item and packaging. Depending on availability, I will arrange a replacement or refund.

Microwave safe and dishwasher safe, although hand washing is recommended to help preserve the glaze finish.
Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as moving pottery directly from the refrigerator into a hot oven. Buxton Pottery is not thermal-shock ware and should not be exposed to rapid changes in temperature.
