Its softly rounded form provides a wonderful canvas for the layered, flowing glazes that give this collection its distinctive character.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eTurquoise and soft blue move through earthy browns, amber, green and touches of deeper blue, creating patterns that remind me of water, rock and bushland. The glaze has been deliberately allowed to move and interact during firing, so the markings aren't painted on or precisely controlled — they develop naturally in the kiln.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eThat unpredictability is part of what I love about this glaze. \u003cstrong\u003eNo two Bush Creek pieces can ever be exactly the same.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eAt 13.5cm tall, this is a lovely smaller vase for Australian natives, garden flowers or a simple arrangement of foliage.
