The exterior combines \u003cstrong\u003eturquoise, soft blue, green, ochre and earthy brown glazes\u003c\/strong\u003e, which overlap and move during firing to create the wonderfully varied surface you see in the photographs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eInside, a warm \u003cstrong\u003eterracotta-brown glaze\u003c\/strong\u003e provides a striking contrast to the cooler colours on the exterior.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003ePart of my \u003cstrong\u003eRustic Collection\u003c\/strong\u003e, the layered glazes are applied individually rather than simply dipping the finished piece into a single glaze. The firing then brings those layers together, producing areas of flowing colour, speckling and subtle changes in texture.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eWith a comfortable capacity of approximately \u003cstrong\u003e250ml (300ml filled to the top)\u003c\/strong\u003e, it makes a lovely handleless cup for coffee, tea or other drinks.
